Little Shop of Horrors is a hilariously funny and delightfully scary musical that follows the fortunes of geeky florist assistant Seymour and his quest to win the heart of sweet, bubble-headed Audrey whilst trying to conceal the shop’s latest addition: a plant hungry for human blood.

As the plant grows, it becomes a local attraction and the florist business is booming, but its desire for blood is increasing every day. Can Seymour satisfy the plant’s bloodlust and save Audrey from her abusive dentist boyfriend?  

Auckland Theatre Company presents one of the longest running and most successful off-Broadway shows of all time from multiple Academy Award-winning creative duo Howard Ashman and Alan Menken. The show features such classic musical numbers as Somewhere That's Green, Downtown, Feed Me and Suddenly Seymour.
