Q began as an idea, dreamt up by a group of artists and performers, for a purpose-built home for the performing arts in Auckland. This dream has only been turned into reality by the belief, support and generosity of our donors and sponsors.

But there is still so much more that we want to do.

Q is a place where artists can create and the community can engage. We want Q to be known nationally and internationally as a venue that provides the highest quality performing arts. We strive to present culturally and theatrically diverse art events. We want to nurture and support young rising stars as they hone their craft. We want to be able to reach out to Auckland with opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds in all areas of the performing arts.

In order to achieve those aims we need your help. Whether you’re an individual who loves the theatre, or a company who’s looking to forge a new creative partnership, we’d love to hear from you.
