In 2017, James Roque ("roh-keh") realised he'd been pronouncing his own Filipino last name wrong for the last 18 years - so he adjusted it back.

Since then he's been feeling like a brand new immigrant (he's a citizen now, but still, he feels immigrant as ****).

The Filipino step-son of New Zealand comedy returns with a brand new show about what it means to be a brown immigrant in 2018.

As seen on 7 Days, Jono and Ben, Only in Aotearoa and part of comedy trio Frickin Dangerous Bro. James is also a Spinoff and columnist.
