Barfoot & Thompson: Principal Sponsor of Q Theatre

We are delighted to announce that our Key Sponsor Barfoot & Thompson are continuing their long-term support of Q Theatre and in 2015 have committed to becoming our Principal Sponsor.

Barfoot & Thompson have been an active supporter of Q since 2012, with the NZTrio Loft seasons, the 2013 Fundraising Gala performance of No Holds Bard and in developing a partnership with Q as a Key Sponsor in 2014.

Wendy Alexander, CEO of Barfoot & Thompson says, “Barfoot & Thompson is proud of its association with Q Theatre.  For some time the company has been keen to be more actively involved with cultural activities in the city and we looked long and hard to determine an opportunity that represented the 'right fit' for us.  Q Theatre is rapidly becoming a popular cultural destination in the city where exciting NZ talent and events are showcased to advantage.  As a key partner, we are delighted to be part of the growth and exciting future of Q Theatre.”

With Barfoot & Thompson’s support Q Theatre has worked hard to realise its ambitions to become both a hotspot and a home for the performing arts in Auckland.

“We aim to welcome people through our doors in a way that encourages them to sit down with a great cup of coffee, put their feet up and stay a while. It is for this reason our foyer has never been a foyer – we call it Lounge. Barfoot & Thompson have an intrinsic understanding of this. They welcome people into homes every day, and so we love that our Lounge is becoming their Lounge too.” says James Wilson, Chief Executive of Q Theatre.

In recognition of the significant support from our Principal Sponsor, Q Theatre is pleased to now welcome visitors into Q Theatre’s doors through the Barfoot & Thompson Lounge.

From all of as at Q Theatre – thank you Barfoot & Thompson for you generous and ongoing support of all that we do.
