Kia ora Q whānau

Come say hi if you are around.

Kia ora Q whānau,

life’s been relatively quiet in the Tech Department at Q this week, thanks to the long (and sold out!) season of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and the delightfully organised cast and crew of Leilani in Loft. I am sure designer Jo Kilgour will knock us into shape again with her lighting designs for Sister Anzac and The Absurdity of Humanity later in the month. Speaking of wāhine toa, how kick-ass are the team of Boys Will be Boys? Go Silo, go!

Due to the reprieve of crazy venue technical set-ups & turnarounds, you might even find the Q technicians upstairs with a beer next week. Come say hi if you are around. We’ll be the group dressed in black - I’ll probably have a tasty stout in hand and maybe our Head Chef Krishna’s new goat cheese soufflé (check out our Restaurant Month specials, if that sounds good to you too.)

I think that’s all for now. Pretty sure I have a roster that needs finishing. See you around the building soon!
