PROUD 2018
Auckland Pride Festival's official closing celebration is Aotearoa's biggest LGBTIQ+ party!
Featuring international DJ Dan Slater, NYC rapper and DJ Le1f, and London-based neo-burlesque royalty Empress Stah – with a local DJ line-up that includes Dick Johnson, Jordan Eskra, Brown Boy Magik, Creamy Mami, James Leuii, Linda T, Ninety5, Wendy Douglas, Samuel Holloway, as well as live shows from FAFSWAG and Disco Bloodbath, plus a very special surprise performance on the night – PROUD 2018 will be LEGENDARY.
Feel the love at the massive Auckland Pride Parade on Ponsonby Road – then get down to the heart of Auckland’s arts precinct for the queer party of the year!
For the very first time, PROUD is staging a complete takeover across all levels of Q Theatre – including a purpose-built outdoor courtyard and party entrance in the Lower Greys Avenue car park.
Q Theatre’s main Queen Street doors are closed for the night. Enter the party from the Lower Greys Avenue carpark into an atmospheric courtyard complete with a licensed bar, local DJs & performers, comfortable ottomans and amenities, plus large-scale projections courtesy of FAFSWAG Arts Collective.
Inside Q, New Zealand's largest sound and lighting company Oceania Productions will be collaborating with Creative Ambience Stage Technologies and Customised Project Solutions, bringing you an immersive and out-of-this-world multi-room, multi-roomparty experience.
Tickets are strictly limited and selling quickly - book your boarding pass and prepare for lift-off!.
Please note: this event is strictly R18 and ID checks will be conducted at the door. Strobe and haze and similar effects will be used in some areas of the venue. Please get in touch with Q if you have a questions about this event.
