CURRENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES

HEAD OF PROGRAMMING AND PRODUCTION | TE PANE O NGĀ PAPATONO ME NGĀ WHAKAPUTANGA 

About the role: Q's Head of Programming and Production is responsible for the development and implementation of Q's programme strategy, as well as all Production Department activities and is a part of the Senior Leadership Team. The role looks after the overall direction and delivery of Q's venues and events, and provides leadership throughout the organisation, while actively championing the Q values and vision. 

What we're looking for: Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years previous experience in a professional performing arts or events role, with proven success (5+ years) in a senior management role. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the diverse range of programming and production activities that are undertaken in performing arts centres and all that this entails. The successful applicant will also come with a calm nature, great problem-solving skills, a strong collaborative orientation and the ability to align with Q's values as a contributor to the performing arts sector in Tāmaki Makaurau.

HEAD OF PATRON SERVICES | TE PANE O NGĀ RATONGA KIRITAKI

About the role: This senior leadership position looks after the overall direction and delivery of Q activities that influence or impact the experience of patrons and visitors to Q's spaces. The role will lead our Visitor Experience team to ensure professional, efficient services and safety are provided, inspiring visitors to return as an outcome of their positive experience at Q. 

What we're looking for: The Head of Patron Services will need a minimum of 10 years experience in the multi venue public assembly industry, with 5+ years of working in a management role in a relevant industry. Our ideal candidate will know how to develop and implement staff training programmes for Front of House and Food and Beverage teams, will have excellent stakeholder relationships, and come with demonstrated experience in managing a Health and Safety and/or Emergency Management framework.
