Casual Technicians
Q Theatre, in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau, is looking for passionate and experienced crew to join our technical team. You will help us deliver a wide range of technical services for our diverse programme and hirer base.
Due to the nature of our theatre spaces and activities, we are looking for crew who are flexible and multiskilled. Q Theatre is looking for mechs, lighting assistants & operators, audio assistants and operators, and venue technicians - for those who are also skilled at liaising with hirers and running a team.
Ideally, you’ll have hands-on experience with sound, lighting, or audio-visual equipment, including Yamaha sound consoles and ETC lighting systems. You’ll be comfortable working independently, maintaining a high standard, and helping every performance run smoothly.
We’re keen to hear from people who are available for casual crew calls, show calls, pack-ins, pack-outs and technical shifts across days, evenings and weekends.
