Duty Operations Manager (Visitor Experience Operations Executive)
The Duty Operations Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences across Q Theatre, overseeing front-of-house, hospitality, and event operations. The role manages daily venue activities including bar, kitchen, customer service, staffing, rostering, budgets, compliance, and event delivery, while supporting the growth of food, beverage, retail, and commercial event revenue.
Working closely with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, the position ensures seamless operations, high service standards, and a positive visitor experience. The role also champions accessibility, inclusion, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in venue, hospitality, or event operations, strong leadership and people management capability, sound commercial acumen, and the ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and operational systems. Experience in performing arts venues and venue management software is advantageous.
