With 15 dancers executing daring physicality and nuanced storytelling, this program dives deep into themes such as diaspora and displacement, nostalgia and rage, queer horizons, skin and structure, indigenous cycles, political tip toeing, surveillance and unease, disco divas, object and light, the divine digital age, and intersectional relationships.
Under the expert lighting design of Michael Craven, guided by choreographic mentor Katie Burton, and with sonic and costume worlds built by the students themselves — this is a showcase of full-spectrum creativity.
