Q’s main performance space is a state of the art flexiform auditorium. It provides artists with inspiration and challenges them to engage audiences in different ways.
Rangatira is a highly adaptable space. It gives designers the capability to reconfigure both the stage and seating to suit the needs of a given production. It accommodates a wide variety of artistic events including dance, drama, comedy, music and multi-media art events.
Flexible staging is integral to Q’s design. Our seating configuration is optimised for use in End Stage, Short Traverse, Long Traverse, Thrust, In the Round and Promenade, however, seating can be adapted to many configurations, allowing extraordinary creative freedom.
