Proudly Asian Theatre: 10 Year Anniversary Celebration!

Take a ride through 10 years of Proudly Asian Theatre! Guest cameos, performances and an epic afterparty launch a fundraiser to take PAT to the next level and celebrate our work and community.

1 hour show (7pm) followed by launch event (8.30pm)
Mon 12 February 2024

10 years, one epic celebration.

After a decade of pioneering theatre driven by Asian storytellers, producing sellout shows, and supporting Asian artists across Aotearoa, Proudly Asian Theatre are taking a short break that will put us on the path of being truly sustainable on the business side.

BUT, before we get into our behind the scenes mahi, we’re leaving on a high: with a 10th anniversary celebration!

A heart-fuelled ride through the last ten years of PAT promises guest cameos, performances from our gorgeous artists and an epic afterparty. Even Co-founder James Roque will be there, all the way from Canada!

As well as celebrating our beautiful mahi, artists and community that have shaped us, the evening will also focus on launching a fundraiser that will play a pivotal role in shaping our future. These funds will go toward engaging top-notch advisors and providing much needed support for the essential work carried out by Marianne and Chye-Ling in setting up our business and revenue strategies across the hiatus.

We couldn't have come this far without your continued support and collaboration. Our community really is the heart and soul of Proudly Asian Theatre, and we would love to see you there!

Planning to attend? Please fill out this form to help us know who to expect and the numbers for catering. Heads up! As this is a non-ticketed event, entry for the performance in Loft will be first-in, first-served; so make sure you get there early if you want the full Proudly Asian Theatre experience.

If you can't make it to the show or miss out, be sure to circle back to Q at 8.30pm for the epic afterparty and fundraising launch as there will be more room for all you PAT lovers to celebrate after the show!
